Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang is a five-star beachfront resort nestled along Batu Feringgi Beach in Penang, surrounded by extensive lush tropical gardens and brimming with authentic Malaysian charm. The resort features 303 guest rooms designed in the traditional Minangkabau architectural style, divided into two wings: the Rasa Wing and the Garden Wing. The resort boasts a lagoon-style swimming pool, CHI, The Spa (Shangri-La’s signature spa), and a variety of distinctive restaurants and bars, including Feringgi Grill fine steakhouse and Spice Market Café buffet restaurant. **Children's Breakfast Charges**
- Up to 2 children under 7 years old enjoy complimentary breakfast when accompanied by a paying adult. 50% discount applies for children aged 7–11. Reference price for adult breakfast: approximately MYR107 per person (price subject to change, please check with the hotel front desk).
- Baby Cot: Complimentary baby cots available, subject to availability. Please contact the hotel in advance for reservation.

Tourism Tax & Local Levies
1. Tourism Tax for Foreign Guests: RM10 per room per night, effective from 1 January 2023, payable upon check-in. Guests holding a valid Malaysian Identity Card (MyKad) or MY PR Permanent Resident Card are exempted.
2. Penang Local Municipal Fee: RM3 per room per night, to be paid together with tourism tax by foreign guests at check-in.
Parking Policy
- Self-Parking: Private resort car park, complimentary for in-house guests, no reservation required.
- Parking Bays: On-site private parking, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation & Prepayment Policy
- Cancellation and prepayment terms vary according to room type / rate plan. Please read the detailed terms of the selected rate at the time of booking.
- A prepayment of 30% will be required at the time of booking for bookings of 3 rooms or more in a single reservation, and terms differ from individual guest bookings.
Group Bookings
Separate group policies and additional deposit requirements apply for bookings of more than 10 rooms in a single reservation. A deposit of 50% of the total bill will be required, and terms differ from individual guest bookings.

- Restaurants: Feringgi Grill fine-dining restaurant; Spice Market Café international buffet; Pinang Restaurant & Bar.
- Outside Alcohol: Corkage fees will be charged for consuming personal alcoholic drinks in restaurants and public areas.

Impeccable rooms and great amenities
The pool area was clean, warm and never felt crowded. Travelling with kids was easy thanks to the helpful staff. Room service was quick and the food was delicious.
